I’m a work-from-home nurse turned web designer — which sounds like an unusual combination until you realize both jobs are fundamentally about the same thing: listening closely enough to actually help.
I became a nurse in 2021, starting on the cardiac floor where high stakes and high precision were just Tuesday. I later moved to labor and delivery, postpartum, and now I do case review for diagnostic cardiac cases from home. Which means on any given day I am reviewing complex medical cases in the morning and building Showit websites in the afternoon. In my pajamas. With a cat on my lap. And honestly? I wouldn't have it any other way.
Nursing taught me how to notice what isn’t being said — the hesitation, the uncertainty, the real need underneath the surface. That same instinct guides how I approach every website project. Because at the end of the day, a website isn’t just design — it’s translation.
What started as a creative outlet became Lynn & Line Digital when I realized two things: I genuinely loved the work. And small businesses were being left behind by an industry that either charges agency prices or hands them a template and calls it a day.
That didn’t sit right with me.
I’ve taken the long road more than once — different chapters, unexpected turns, and seasons that asked more courage than I anticipated. What all of it taught me is this: the women building something real deserve more than a generic starting point.
I’m not going to pretend I’ve been doing this for ten years. I’m building this business openly and intentionally, from the ground up — and I believe there’s value in watching something grow in real time. No highlight reel. Just honest work and thoughtful progress.
Today, I specialize in custom Showit websites for photographers and service-based businesses ready for something more intentional than a template — and more reflective of the work they’ve grown into.
What I can promise is this: I will listen to you like my nursing career depended on it. I will care about your business like it’s my own. And I will build you something that finally feels like home.
So, tell me about your business.
I’ve got coffee. ☕️
